After last year’s successful programs which included performances by American Idol’s Brielle Von Hugel, Broadway’s Carter Calvert, Jersey Shore’s Chris Pinnella, and a School of Dramatic Arts Showcase that spotlighted our very talented Musical Theater and Cabaret Project students, APTCo is thrilled to announce that we are back this season with 3 fully staged theatrical productions, our Cabaret Project and our SODA classes!
We are kicking the season off with our first annual fundraising gala to celebrate our upcoming programs and to raise needed funds for our 2022-23 season. Asbury Park Theater Company’s Vintage Rock Extravagala featuring Super Trans Am, (…the Ultimate 70s Concert Experience) will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at APTCo’s new home, The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, located at 1401 N Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park. The event begins at 7pm.
All proceeds from this event will help our theater company launch our upcoming inaugural theater season which is scheduled to begin in July of 2022. The first main stage production will be Green Day’s American Idiot, Broadway’s hit musical Million Dollar Quartet in December, followed by the gripping drama American Son in April of 2023. Other cabarets, events and educational programs are planned throughout the season.
